Discount Policy

1. Scope

This Discount Policy governs referral rewards and promotional discounts offered directly by TERMS, LLC (“TERMS”). A promotion may include additional written conditions. If those conditions conflict with this policy, the more specific promotion terms control unless prohibited by law.

2. Invite a Friend: Give 20%, Get 20%

• The invited person must create a new TERMS account through a valid member invitation link or code.
• The invited person receives 20% off one eligible web subscription payment.
• The inviter earns a separate 20% reward after the invited person completes a qualifying first paid TERMS upgrade within the eligibility window.
• Each reward is connected to the eligible member account. It is not a public coupon code.

3. The 60-day redemption rule

• Invited member:The 20% discount expires exactly 60 days after the invited member's TERMS account is created.
• Qualifying conversion:The invited member's first paid upgrade must occur within those same 60 days for the inviter to earn a reward.
• Inviter: An earned 20% reward expires exactly 60 days after it becomes available.
• Starting on the free plan does not pause, extend, or restart either 60-day period.
• An unused or late reward is automatically marked void and cannot be restored, transferred, or exchanged for cash.

4. Eligible payments

• Referral discounts apply to one eligible subscription payment completed through the TERMS website.
• The discount applies to the plan price before applicable taxes and government charges.
• Renewals after the discounted payment are charged at the then-current full plan price unless another valid discount applies.
• Boosts, add-ons, event charges, concierge purchases, taxes, fees, and other non-subscription purchases are excluded unless TERMS states otherwise in writing.
• Apple App Store and Google Play purchases use store-controlled pricing and cannot receive a TERMS web discount.

5. Redemption and combining offers

• TERMS automatically applies the oldest eligible account reward to checkout or the next technically eligible web subscription payment.
• Only one discount may apply to a payment. Discounts cannot be stacked or combined unless TERMS expressly allows it.
• If another discount is already attached to a subscription, a reward may remain available until its individual expiration date.
• Members are responsible for completing checkout before the displayed expiration deadline.

6. Eligibility and account restrictions

• Self-referrals, duplicate accounts, circular referrals, fabricated identities, bulk account creation, and misleading promotion are prohibited.
• One new member account may be connected to only one member invitation.
• Rewards are personal, non-transferable, have no cash value, and may not be sold, traded, or assigned.
• Employees, contractors, influencers, or partners may be subject to separate written program terms. A separately granted influencer personal benefit is not governed by the referral 60-day window unless its grant states otherwise.

7. Refunds, reversals, and billing disputes

• A canceled, refunded, reversed, fraudulent, or charged-back purchase does not qualify as a paid conversion.
• TERMS may void or reverse related rewards and may correct an account or invoice affected by a processing error.
• A used discount is not reissued following a cancellation or refund unless TERMS confirms that the failure was caused solely by a TERMS billing error.

8. Enforcement and changes

TERMS may withhold, void, or reverse a reward when reasonably necessary to address fraud, abuse, payment failure, technical error, or a violation of this policy or the Terms of Use. TERMS may change or end a discount program prospectively. Valid rewards already earned will remain subject to the terms and expiration date shown on the member's account, except where fraud, abuse, error, or law requires otherwise. Offers are void where prohibited.
